Very happy to finally announce my attachment to writer Mark Philip Davis’ “The Alexandrian”. We’ve been working on this project for awhile, and it’s accumulated some recognition already as Finalist at Big Apple Film Festival & Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards, and Semi-finalist at ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship.
We’re very excited for the potential of the series, and the unique & new telling of the legend you thought you knew that Mark brings through his writing.

We’ve started trailer discussions over The Fort!

Took a poll out on my Twitter in October asking what my next script should be, thought it would be fun to see which of my ideas lingering around people would be more interested in. The story is going to be a magical realism one (again, I know). I put down two options, plus one I threw in just for fun (which came in 2nd, go figure).
The winning result was an overwhelming 57%. The people have spoken!
Looks like my next script is going to be a dark comedy about intimacy, so keep your eyes peeled for more updates on this as we move into the coming year (and I get to work on it's treatment)! The concept is going to be a unique one, that's for sure!
Quick update, something new & exciting (and quite honestly just lots of fun) coming from The Fortress of Dorkness in the coming weeks! Watch this space to find out more soon!
Been working on some color tones for The Porter & The Stone, thought I'd share while I'm in the process. I'm going with lighter, milkier shades in this test, closer to pastels, next up I'll try more vivid colors. A more vibrant palette might be where I end up, we'll see once we get to the actual concept art stage. I wish I could draw better, how did James Cameron do it?
